This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly. The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 14 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has assigned 14 cognate credits to this program. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nurse Practitioners and Nurses will receive certificates of attendance that can be used with various boards, not mentioned herein, to obtain credit.
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center designates the Saturday, December 4, 2010, The Luis Leib, MD/St. Paul Foundation Memorial Lecture entitled "The Luis Leib, MD, St. Paul Foundation Memorial Lecture:" The Electronic Health Record and Quality Patient Communication for 1 hr of education in medical ethics and/or professional responsibility.
